Whole Food Nutrition

Whole Food Nutrition is practiced by some 67,000 health care practitioners.  It is not the latest greatest man made nutrient or program as advertised on TV or the millionth diet break through book rather one of the oldest and still the best routes to vibrant good health ever discovered. Whole Food Nutrition proves the fact that "truth is timeless".

Understanding the fact that our bodies were designed to utilize nutrients as they are found in nature with the rich tapestry of co-factors, enzymes and minerals both known and unknown.  Man-made, synthetic vitamin fractions lack all these factors and are therefore are not complete.  Simply stated man-made nutrients are treated like pharmaceuticals in your body and often causes deficiencies and side effects much like medication.

The very first multiple vitamin, Catalyn, was first produced in 1929 by Dr. Royal Lee, founder of Standard Process.  It contains 12 different live food sources and even now when a new nutrient is discovered it is always found in Catalyn.  He understood the vitamin as a complex and that is best digested and utilized in the form nature provides it be it vegetable, fruit or animal.  Products used by this office are the premier nutritional products for whole food nutrition from the benchmark company, Standard Process.

These complete nutrients along with the Mediterranean diet produce great results with our patients that few other programs can duplicate.

We utilize, blood work, the nutritional exam and the System Survey Questionaire to identify organs and systems that are under stress and need support.  Working to support the work of you and your medical doctor leads to a well rounded successfull approach in dealing with numerous health challenges from heart disease to arthritis.
To begin a nutritional program, simply make an appointment at our office then download the System Survey Form, fill it out and bring it with you on your first appointment.  The Survey can be found under Forms.

Nature does not produce vitamins, minerals, trace minerals, or any other food components in concentrated or segregated forms, but merges and blends them -synchronizes them- for the body’s needs.  The idea that “if a little is good more is better” leads to the ingestion of mega doses of “high potency”, refined, separated, “nutrients”, dismantled, disassembled, or artificially manufactured chemical supplements.  This will “work” for a short time – pharmacology stimulating or suppressing.  Eventually this method backfires and causes complications and imbalances.  The body works to eliminate the excess and what it perceives as foreign, non-food.  It attempts to combine the isolated chemical and other members of the complex, which normally appear in food, taking rather than giving.  Such supplements do not contribute to health, they only disrupt it.  Balance and function –not quantity- are the keys.
