Our Practice

Located in the heart of St. Petersburg, Parks Chiropractic is like no other medical or chiropractic office. The environment is one of tranquility and comfort. Decorated in calming colors, tropical artwork and we do not have bright lights, loud machines, or stressed staff members. As soon as you enter our office, you will notice a peaceful and restful feeling in the air and Inma's bright smiling face. We strive to make our office feel like a comfortable home away from home. Healing takes place best when our patients are at ease.

Meet our Staff:

Robert Parks, A.A., B.S., D.C., P.A.

Dr. Bob Parks is a life long resident of St. Petersburg growing up both down town and in the Old Northeast area. He is a graduate of Northeast High School and St. Petersburg College.

His professional degrees were earned at the prestigious National College of Chiropractic, now National University of Health Sciences, in Chicago Illinois. He is a certified in chiropractic sport medicine and one of the few doctors in the area certified in the care of those injured in automotive accidents.  A gradiuate of the Spine Research Institute of San Diego auto injury program, Dr. Parks is also Certified Graston Technique Provider and a Whole Food Nutrition practioner.

Practice focus is on structure, function, pain relief and nutrition. We offer Diversified Manipulation, mobilization and Activator Technique. A broad range of physiotherapy modalities including Spray Stretch (Travell), ultrasound, electrical muscle stimulation, interferential and more. The Graston Technique is utilized for breaking up scar tissue and relieving chronic myofascial pain. Whole Food Nutrition is offered to patients who are ready to reduce their reliance on regular medicine for a whole range of diet related problems as well as acheiving optimal health.

Dr. Parks is the past President of the St. Petersburg Civitan Club, the second oldest service club in the city. As such, he is involved with Special Olympics, P.A.R.C. and All Childrens Hospital. He is a former board member of Brookwood Central serving along with now mayor Bill Foster.

Dr. Bob and Inma, our office manager, have been married and working together in practice for over 26 years. They enjoy boating, kayaking, hiking, camping and of course their many pets. As a young man he was a scuba diving instructor at St. Petersburg College and a very experienced cave diver. Dr. Parks loves St. Petersburg and is deeply interested in its history as well as it's future.

Inmaculada Parks, C.A.

Inma grew up primarily in Aranjuez and Saragossa AFB, Spain and Spanish was her first language. When her father retired from the Air Force the family moved to St. Petersburg. She has attended St. Petersburg High School and St. Petersburg College. Inma has extensive training and experiance insurance billing, and running a medical practice. She is always ready to help patients with questions, insurance issues and of course pet problems.

Inma's passion is animals. She has rescued everything form Opossums to Pitt Bulls. Currently her pets include a six toed cat, four dogs and two prarie dogs. Her motto if a pet comes in my door it's mine. She too enjoys hiking, kayaking camping and boating.
